About this landmark

Girlhood home of Mary Todd, future wife of Abraham Lincoln. Built about 1803-06 as an inn, it became the Todd family home in 1832 and opened in 1977 as the first historic site restored in honor of a First Lady. A garden dedicated in 1996 is part of the site.
