United States Post Office and Court House

About this landmark

Federal post office and courthouse completed in 1934, designed by H.A. Churchill and John T. Gillig under the Public Buildings Act of 1926. Its spare, streamlined look is credited in part to Treasury Supervising Architect Louis Simon. It is a courthouse of the Eastern District of Kentucky.
