About this landmark

Richardsonian Romanesque stone church opened in 1894 and a major surviving Richardsonian Romanesque building in Lexington. Its congregation, begun under Barton Stone, is where the Stone and Campbell movements joined on January 1, 1832 to form the Restoration Movement.
