Gratz Park Historic District

About this landmark

Tree-shaded park and National Register district on land set out in 1781, site of Transylvania's first campus until an 1829 fire. It surrounds the Hunt-Morgan and Bodley-Bullock houses and the 1906 Carnegie Library, and holds a fountain in memory of author James Lane Allen.
