by John McMurtry
Burial ground bought by Christ Church in 1832, used heavily in the 1833 cholera epidemic that killed nearly a third of the congregation. A small Carpenter Gothic chapel, thought to be John McMurtry's, dates to about 1867. Rev. London Ferrill, a formerly enslaved Baptist preacher, is buried here.
