Lexington
Medium: Vinegar paint
Susan Dworkin is a Lexington painter who has lived in the city since 1989 and works in vinegar paint, a colonial technique she adapts to artist board, foam core, metal, paper, glass and mirror. Her abstract compositions suggest landscapes and fantasy realms, and she draws color inspiration from her earlier work as a private estate gardener. She earned a BA from Roger Williams University and held solo exhibits in Lexington in 2017.
